To the Shores of Natal.

T. V. Bulpin,A very popular writer of Africana travel and adventure, and a very colourful story teller indeed. Here we have yet again another short history of the province of Natal with 28 chapters dealing in the gold mining industry, the ivory traders,Port Natal, the Voortrekkers, the early settlers, modern Zululand, the capital city of Pietermaritzburg, the Northern Frontier and the Drakensberg. All the trimmings of a typical book of history and travel.A typical Bulpin. Brilliant stuff.

H/b in much faded boards, especialy the spine, corners and ends of spine bruised, and tired looking,no d/w.Size 9×6 pp 340,inc index, pencil drawings as plates, with sketches in text, maps to both front and back p/d’s and e/p’s.Front hinges on the loose side.Binding good to firm.A little hand-soiled in places. With perhaps some faint age-browning.Otherwise,nice and clean internaly. A fair-v/g clean copy.
