Through Matabeleland. The record of a ten month’s trip in an ox-waggon through Mashonaland and Matabeleland,

£10.00

I can find no record of Joseph Garbett Wood, apparently he was a member of the gold mining prospectors,Wood,Francis and Chapman, who opperated under the Royal Charter to prospect and mine gold throughout Matabeleland and Mashonaland. This book is a plain unvarnished record of the adventures of this syndicate in Matabeleland. The transaction at the court of Lobengula and what was actually seen in the new gold country of Mashonaland, cannot fail to be interesting.
