Things Fall Apart.

This is in fact a novel, and its contents are not based on historical fact, but for no other reason than for it very apt title,it has been included into the library. The story is the tragedy of Okonkwo,an important man in the Obi tribe in the days when white men were first appearing on the scene. The heroin through his pride and his fears becomes exciled from his tribe and returns only to be forced into the ignominy of suicide to escape the results of his rash courage against the white man.
