The Records of the Cape Colony amounts to 36 volumes in total vol 35 is a supplement and index.Vol 36 is a register of contents.Compiled by South Africa’s greatest historian,George McCall Theal.It covers all known historical recorded facts from 1793-1827.every item of importance concerning the Cape Government is recorded here.

Of the 36 volumes only 21 are in my library here.Size of each vol 9×6 pp 500 approx,Leather bouned,marbled e/p’s and all edges.Guilt to spine.Externaly some vols.are better than others.but basicaly very dry,worn,cracking hinges,boards,rat-chewed,and generaly very poor.Internaly,age-brownd,but nice and clean.Binding tight and liable to crack.Very dry and brittle. Externaly very poor,Internaly very good.
