Desiring to pay suitable tribute to the many volunteers and others who had come to her assistance to supress the “Native Rebellion in Natal”during 1906,the government of that colony sought and obtained the approval of his Majesty King Edward VII to the award of a medal to all who had taken part in the campaign.This is a government paper that describes the medal,with some added history of Natal,and theZulu nation and its war with the British in 1879.

There are no covers to this item it consists of 13 page of single typed text only,that includes references,and a section dedecated to the military units that received the medal.Size 12×8.stapled together at the top l/h corner.Outer leaf grubby and slightly foxed otherwise internally clean and bright throughout.
