H/b all in v/g clean and sharp original boards,corners very slightly worn,ends of spine slightly bruised.General and Synoptical indexes,f/o maps to each volume,notes on printed books,various lists and charts,a list of printed books and pamphlets containing information on South Africa in recent times.Black end papers.Very little foxing.But very heavily age-browned throughout,some more that others.Hinges strong.Binding good but very dry. Note. These volumes are 100 years old,and must be handled with great care,as the leaves and bindings are very dry and brittle,and break easily.In all a lovely set of 1st ed. material,of historical value.
