This book,though small in size is a narrative of the Great Boer War two volumes in one,by the celebrated author Sir Arthur Conan Doyle.A quallified doctor of medicine.During his service in South Africa,As a radical man he was able to collect valuable bits of information from the officers and men while serving in the hospital at Bloemfontein,and also on visiting the battle scenes throughout the conflict.

H/b in the original boards,reasonably clean for its age,spine slightly faded,and ends a little bruised.Size 6×5 pp 270,no illustrations,text only.Hinges strong.Binding good to firm,Some slight foxing in the end-papers.There are quite a lot of pencil notations and linings in the text and margins,However,although a tedious job,all of which could be rubbed out.Otherwise nice and clean throughout.
