The rough balls of stone are curious because, although they suggest hammer stones, none of them show any traces of being used as such. I am myself inclined to regard them as having been used as weights for Bolas for hunting game so suggested L. Leakey in 1931-1939.This book is strictley for the student of Archaeology alone.
