Social Organisation and Ceremonial Institutions of the BOMVANA.

The purpose of this book is to give a brief account of the habbits and customs of the Bomvana tribe that inhabited an area of the Transkei,as they are today and when ever possible,as they excisted before.Attention has been focussed almost entirely on the institutional and ceremonial aspects of their culture as being of greater importance and interest for the purposes of this investigation.
