H/b in nice clean boards,leather bound with a ribbed spine,there are a few small marks on the spine,especially where an old lable has been removed.Size 9×6 pp XII + 217,inc,index,some plates taken from reproduced b/w photographic prints,inc frontispiece.Hinges strong.Binding tight,(Owing to having been rebound i think) a little light foxing and browning in the prelims,and slightly hand-soiled Otherwise clean and bright throughout.
