Shona Religion. With special reference to the Makorekore

Michael Gelfand’s latest study on the religion of the Shona is again based ,as were his previous books,on personal observation over a long period of the traditional cult and ritual practices which he attended. The greatest part of this work deals with the Makorekore section of the Shona-speaking people and it is the first authentic study and analysis of the religion of this Rhodesian tribe.
