H/b boards showing some slight staining,nothing serious,in a rather soiled pictorial d/w some edge-chipping,and quite heavily foxed on the inside.Size 9×6 pp 16+383,inc index,bibliography,various appendix,page maps,plates,with coloured frontispiece,Hinges strong.Binding somewhat tired but sound.Some slight browning and foxing to edges,but nothing serious,Internaly clean for a much read volume.A fair–good clean volume.
