H/b in the original boards,clean but with corners bumped,and spine-ends d/w.Size 9×6 pp 16+314,inc,index,various appendix,many reproduced photographic plates inc,frontispiece,with tissue guard.With the Authors compliments and dated,1917.Hinges strong.Binding dry and starting to crack,with one plate almost detached.No foxing or staining.But there are some dirty finger-marks here and there.Otherwise a nice clean copy for its age.
