Quarterly Bulletin of the South African Library. Vol.19-20

A difficult book to describe this.Issued by the South African Ligrary Capetown,as their quarterly bulletin, for the year 1964.Many items are discussed here. What is of greatest interest to me is the various articles and papers that deal with the Hottentot people like Johan Schreyer’s description of the Hottentots dated 1679,Work by Dr. Bleek. There is also a great deal of information based on very early photography, and of the first coming of the railways to South Africa. There are also many adverts from that year.An interesting item.Different,it needs to be read through.
