Here is another of Richard micklin Halls masterpieces,on the ancient history of Rhodesia.(Hall 1853-1914).Rhodesian archaeologist and author.Born at Dudley Worcestershire-England,and can be rightfuly named amonst the greatest authority of Rhodesian pre-history.This volume is an examination of the historical ethnological and archaeological evidence as to the origins and age of the rock mines and stone buildings.With a Gazateer of mediaeval South-east Africa 915 AD-1760AD,and countries of the Monomotapa,Manica,Sabia,Quiteve,Sofala and Mozambique.



H/b in the original boards,very edge-worn with faded and broken spine edge No /d/w.Size 9×6 pp XXV111+488,inc index,appendix,plates as reproduced photographic prints, inc frontispiece with tissue guard,which is now loose,Hinges cracked,Binding very slack but holding.f/o tables,f/o maps,Very heavily foxed and stained and age-brownd.At 99 years of age,this book has seen better days.
