Nisa. The Life and Words of a !Kung Woman.

£12.00

I found Nisa Fascinating. What especially struck me is the extraordinary harmony of body, emotion and mind in Nisa and the !Kung generally. The author is to be commended for the skill, patience and dedication she brought to her book, reflecting Nisa and the !Kung people. Nisa, this amazing !Kung woman, married at twelve, then separated, divorced and widowed. She is the mother of four children, none of whom survived, yet she is strong, capable of foraging on her own in one of the worlds most hostile environments, not dependant on any man for her daily sustenance, and ready to talk to anyone as an equal.A really amazing person.
