Bishop.George Wyndam Hamilton Knight– Bruce (1852–1896) Anglican prelate,English born,began his ministry in the London slums of Bethnol Green,in 1886,he was consecrated Bishop of Bloemfontein,and in 1888,treked to Bulawayo,where he met the Matabele chief Lobengula,travelling extensively over his territories.Because of his knowledge of this area he became,in 1891,The first Bishop of the newly created see of Mashonaland,where he did outstanding work in curcumstances of great hardship.Here are his memories.
