Kwame Nkrumah and the future of Africa.

Professor Phillips writes from a unique experience of Africa.Born in South Africa, and served under many of the leading political personalities in various countries in Africa. Finally accepting an appointment as Professor of Agriculture at the University of Ghana. It is because he is convinced of Dr.Nkruma’s contribution to African history that he has cast his present survey–which covers the whole of Africa south of the Sahara and includes all his personal experience of the vital problems involved–in the form of a study of Africa in the light of the forceful personality of the President of Ghana.
