King of Kings. Tewodros of Ethiopia.

£5.00

This study of Emperor Tewodros is not much more than a biographical sketch. It is by no means a comlete history of his reign, and many events and aspects of his life have either been treated summarily or omitted. The justification for it’s publication lies,i beieve, mainly in the fact that i have concentrated on the least known aspects of his life–his political and family background, his rise to power, and the relationship between him and his own people–rather than on his conflict with the foreigners and the Meqdela campaign,of which so much more has been written.
