Mr. H. C. Shepstone’s report upon the provision made for the wants of the people of Putili Tribe. In this Government correspondence, he makes reference to the employment of the men of the Putili Tribe working at the passes; the liberation of the whole Tribe on account of their good conduct and restoration to their homes; the evil effects of the Native Marriage Law No. 1 of 1869; and settlement of the people of Putili Tribe and the steps taken to provide for their future wants.

Prelimes and endpapers grubby and with quite a lot of foxing throughout text. However reasonably clean internaly and readable.
