There are many volumes written telling of the history,glamour and greatness of various regiments that served throughout the world and the British Army.This book is a fitting tribute to the bravous and unwavering courage of one of the greatest regiments of all time.Formed in the March of 1689 as Derings Regiment.In 1881,they became known as the South Wales Borderers.They were awarded The Silver Wreath on their capbadge,by Queen Victoria,and were awarded 11 Victoria Crosses for their services throughout the Zulu War of 1879.
