Ebony and Ivory.

£4.00

A lovely little novel written by a Dorset aurthor, a true romantic, divided into 2 parts, firstly he writes with the African native in mind, describing his thoughts and dreams, and comparing his environment with that of his own country.”The sounds of Africa, how bitter they are! how fantastic! No singing of thrush or blackbird. The notes of all the birds of Africa are primitive and crude. In part 2 he writes of the freshness of the English countryside. The little children who found a nest of young thrushes. Realy beautifull to read.
