H/b in the original patterned boards,corners bumped,and edge-worn.marked and aged,with some damage to the top and bottom of the spine,with some loss.Size 7×5 pp 29+557plus further works by the same author,some finely skeched plates inc portrate of author as frontispiece,Front hinge badly cracked and partly detached,also list of illustrations page also detached,some slight foxing,to prelims internal binding good to firm all edges guiled,age-browned but internally clean for its age.
