Bushman Stories

Once again we have one of those quaint little volumes based on tribal folklore. This volume published in 1950,is a collection of some 23 Bushman stories, researched by the British Association for the Advancement of Science. The Tranvaal Department of Native Affaires, had great difficulty in finding a full-blooded Bushman couple,as it is fast becoming more difficult to find a pure specimen of this fast vanishing race.So these stories can be classified as quite unique.

H/b in two-toned illustrated boards, nice and clean and sharp, spine ends slightly d/w.size 7×5 pp XII+75,some pencil sketches to some of the chapter headings,as published, with decorated end papers.Hinges strong,Binding good to firm. There is a small sticky paper lable to the outside face board. This a ex-library copy this some small stamps.Otherwise internally clean and bright throughout.
