Assegai Over The Hills

This book is basically the story of the Eastern Cape, and its long struggle, and many wars that lasted almost 100 years, against the Xhosa people,as they pushed ever Westward in order to replenish their grazing lands. This is more importantly the stand taken by the people of Grahamstown, and how they were almost over run,and would have been,if they hadnt believed in the Witch-Doctor Makanna, who missled them into believing, that the white-mans bullets had no power.
