An African Savages own story.

I have found it very difficult to descibe this book. It is of course basically an autobiography, but one vastly different from most, it tells of the experiences of a man termed as a civilized African Savage, who says that our civilisation has been able to penetrate only skin-deep, and that he can never be wholly one of us. Lobagola, a black Jew, descended from the lost tribes of Israel, a savage who came out of the African bush into modern civilisation and thenceforth found himself an alien among his oun people. And a stranger in the twentieth century world
