A Short History of Nigeria.

This history of Nigeria is intended for use in the Nigerian middle schools and has been written from that point of view It is of course impossible in a work of this size to write in detail of every part of this very large and populous country and it has been inevitable that there should be more about some parts than about others.Hausaland and Yorubaland, for example, are areas about which there is available a good deal of historical information:about the Ibo country,on the other hand, very little is known and what is known deals with such small areas that mention could not be made of them insuch a book as this.
