A History of Natal.

So once again we have yet another volume dealing with the history of the Province of Nata in South Africa. However reading through the preface, this volume approaches the subject from a totally different angle. Here an attempt is made to write within the bounds of a single volume,an impartial history of the three groups of immigrants who built Natal–Africans–Europeans–and asians–and to consider their economic and social,as wel as their political life. The main part of the book, deals with Natal up to the date of its absorbtion into the Union of South Africa.
