A Demogaphic Study of a Dinka Village.

As the information in column F sets out, this booklett is an extraction from a journal entitled Human Biology. It sets out to describe the living conditions in village life amongst the Dinka people of the southern Sudan. The construction of a Dinka village, the various territorial patterns is the clan and lineage system of the nothern Dinka. These people are to some extent distrustful of outsiders, the memories of the slave trade are very strong. All aspects of their way of life are discused here,a very serious little study.

Size 9×6 pp 26,a small bibliography, tables, charts and diagrams.Hinges strong with stapled spine, a little rusty at staples. No loose pages,no staining or foxing.A nice copy of a very serious social anthropological work, very good.
